We started ordinary time and it is really going to be a short one before Lent this year. Ash Wednesday comes on Feb 6th, in this year of 2008. That makes Easter come on March 23rd. This gives us a short amount of time to spiritually transition from the Joy of the Christmas season that just ended to the penitential season of Lent.

Be Wary of The Golden Compass

There is a lot of things you don’t need to be scared about – but this is something you should be at least very wary (cautious, suspicious, distrustful, guarded, careful) about if not downright scared. The author is unapologetic about the purpose of the film.
